The custom-designed miniature train blends seamlessly with the autumn forest route, offering visitors a nostalgic and immersive experience.

This collaboration focuses on the American Forest Scenic Area.It features towering dense forests and tranquil pastoral scenery.

However, the area faces two major current challenges.One is low visitor engagement in the core forest area.The other is a lack of signature experiential activities.

Thus, we have identified the following core objectives.

Create a unique sightseeing experience blending nature and vintage charm.This experience highlights the forest’s distinctive allure.
Reduce visitor fatigue from long hikes and expand influence.Create striking photo spots to generate social media buzz.These spots will attract more family tourists.
Establish a low-cost, flexible operating model.This model won’t damage the forest ecosystem.

Solution: Customized Retro Trackless Train Solution

To align with the scenic area’s core theme of “forest nostalgia,” we designed a classic retro trackless train specifically for the forest area.

This customized train features a classic reddish-brown retro color scheme, complemented by brass trim, engraved patterns, and a streamlined locomotive design, creating a striking visual echo with the metasequoia forest and becoming a landmark of the scenic area.

The environmentally friendly trackless operation, equipped with a silent electric system, eliminates the need for track laying, minimizing damage to the forest soil and vegetation.

Comfortable and safe features include padded seats, open-plan cabins, and child safety handrails, making it suitable for families, the elderly, and couples.

The train can be expanded to include one locomotive and 4-5 carriages, with a maximum passenger capacity of 30 people to meet the needs of peak visitor periods.
